Just saw a Best Buy ad promoting this CD, saying it is the most anticipated CD in history. After listening to it, I can say it was definitely not worth the wait. But what do you expect from Axl Rose and his flunkies, pretending to be one of the best rock bands of all time. Major fail.

I'd agree with that review.
I've listened to it over, and over.. I just can't figure out what Axl and company are trying to do?
Is it Guns n roses, or is it screwed up band of teenagers?

I've only got to listen to the first five songs and it's definitely not Appetite for Destruction. I thought tracks 3 and 4 were pretty good and track 5 had sort of a 70's funk sound to it. I just don't see how it would be possible to recreate the chemistry of the original lineup some twenty years later.

was listenin to radio the other night, and James Hetfield of Metallica was asked about the new GnR album, he replied something along the lines of "i thought we took a long time to release an album (five years), but they have took seventeen, but that was expected, Axel is late for everything"

Guns N Roses should stay dead. Just a bunch of idiots and has-beens (that directed primarily towards "Axl" himself).

Axl (or however he spells it) is the biggest douche in the music industry. First off, he brings in his absolute #1 flunkie, Ricky Rachtman and tells MTV if they don't give him the job of hosting Headbanger's Ball, MTV will never premier another G n' R video. HBB was never the same after that loser took it over. Secondly, he made all the members of G n' R sign over their rights of the bands' name to him. He was an integral part of G n' R, but just a cog in the wheel. They are not the same without Slash and Duff, no matter what flunkies Axl drags out of the woodwork.

I remember when Axl and Vince Neill had a big feud going on. Kept wishing Vince would whip his ass up and down the road.
